5 Fun Hacks to Try

Face Scrub

Gently exfoliate and cleanse your skin with this easy, natural facial scrub recipe.

You will need:

  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 8 drops Frankincense oil
  • 8 drops Lavender oil
  • Water

Mix all ingredients (excluding water) and store in a small container or jar.

How to Use:

  • Use 1 tsp at a time
  • Mix with water to form a paste
  • Massage paste into skin
  • Rinse well

Moisturizing Mask

Moisturize and balance your skin with this honey infused face mask.

You will need:

  • 1 tbsp raw or Manuka honey
  • ½  a ripe avocado

Mix well in a small bowl. You may use a blender to get a smoother consistency.

How to Use:

  • Spread mixture evenly over your face
  • Let sit 15-20 minutes
  • Use a warm, damp washcloth to remove the mask

DIY Toner

This DIY toner is free off harsh ingredients and designed to naturally balance your skin’s pH.

You will need:

  • Filtered water
  • Raw apple cider vinegar
  • Lavender oil

For normal to dry skin: Mix 1 part vinegar to 2 parts filtered water with 5-10 drops of oil per 2oz of mixture.

For oily/acne-prone skin: Mix 1 part vinegar to 1 part water with 5-10 drops of oil per 2 oz of mixture.

Store in a glass container at room temp.

How to Use:

  • Dampen a cotton ball or pad with the toner
  • Apply to face twice daily
  • Do not rinse

Lip Balm

Treat your lips to natural ingredients and moisture.

You will need:

  • 10 drops Lemon oil
  • 1 tbsp Almond oil
  • 2tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1.5 tbsp organic cosmetic-grade beeswax
  • Lip balm tubes or containers

Use a double boiler on low heat to melt beeswax, almond oil, and coconut oil together. Remove from heat and add lemon oil. Fill containers and allow to cool for a few hours. Apply and enjoy!

Facial Serum

This recipe is perfect for all skin types, including mature skin.

You will need:

  • 1 oz Rosehip seed oil
  • 5 drops Frankincense oil
  • 5 drops Myrrh oil
  • 5 drops Lavender oil
  • 2 drops Rose or Geranium oil

In a 1oz glass dropper bottle, combine all oils (excluding Rosehip) and then fill the remaining with Rosehip oil.

How to Use:

  • Apply to clean skin
  • Target problem areas around nose, mouth, etc.
  • Use morning and night, do not rinse
